Great design needs good photography to go with it. I handle both the design and the product photography on projects, so everything stays consistent from the initial concept through the final images.
I’ve directed quite a few photoshoots, both still and video. When I handle the direction along with the rest of the creative work, everything stays on the same page and moves forward without extra layers.
Photography’s been a big part of my life for a long time. It’s actually what got me into design in the first place. The way I shoot for myself still influences how I approach the work, it keeps things fresh and gives me new ideas to pull from.
